Karl August Schöll (1810–1878) [1]
Schöll was born in Steinmaur and worked as a stove fitter in Zurich. In 1861 he became a citizen of St. Gallen. There he worked as a terrain modeler and gymnastics teacher at the cantonal school in St. Gallen from 1856 to 1877.
